Pleasant stay

The rooms were nice and clean with nice comfy bed. Hot showers and good Aircon and fan in the room. The location was very good and the price was very good compared to other accomodation of a similar standard in the area. The service provided when we arrived was good and the breakfast was ok. I would stay again if I return to El Nido

Reception staff were nice.

Rooms are small, but probably reflected in the room rate. It's ok for a one night stay. Safety box in the room is tiny. Wi-fi was very unreliable except in reception and the restaurant. Shower could've had better pressure.

Disappointing Accommodation. Everything is so disappointing.

NONE AT ALL!

The noise! Rooms are not sound proof. We can hear baby crying. WIFI and Cellphone Signal. Upon booking we've requested for Good wifi and celphone signal rooms since we are traveling for work but to our dismay rooms have no cellphone signal. WIFI also has a very poor signal that we cant get our emails. TV. The rooms has a TV but hey what will we do with that TV if you don't have a cable signal? They don't even bother to fixed it.

Comfortable, peaceful, and quiet.

All the staff and even the owner are all accomodating, approachable, and friendly.

I am really very disappointed with the customer service (hotline customer service) of “ZEN”. It’s partner, The Seaslugs traveller’s Inn, is a comfortable and quiet place to stay in El Nido.

Stronger wifi would be okay.

Stronger wifi would be okay. As we stay inside our room, we can no longer connect to wifi. And the remote control for tv is not working, also the manual controls in the tv are also not working. We could not volume down the tv so we decided not to watch anymore. But the rest of our stay was good.

Good place with good price

The staff were super friendly including the owners. Free flowing diy coffee and juice for breakfast. Quiet location since its a few minutes tricycle ride from the central district. Walking distance to a great affordable restaurant (bulalo plaza), market convenience store etc.. Easy to get a ride. If you want a quiet place to crash after the long tiring day, this is the place. Love that our room had a new split type ac. Clean bathroom.

Limited breakfast options. The TV and its remote isnt working properly- had a hard time decreasing the TV's volume. Took a few days before they were able to put away the dumped door knob and its packaging sitting on the hallway. Wifi on our floor wasnt working during our stay.

the hotel is best for solo travelers on a budget.

The staff were very approachable. The free breakfast is only reasonable for its cost. The food in the restaurant on the second floor is good. Serving size is also good and also the room I had is comfortable after the whole day tour I had.

AC remote control is shared by the people in the hotel. If you want to adjust the room temp you need to go outside to get the remote. No generators during brownouts. Idk, why was the electric supply was cut of. (Is it because of the windy weather?) I returned on the hotel from my tour at 5pm and the electricity was cut. The reception staff has a spare flashlight that they lend me while I was taking a shower. fortunately the electricity came back.

I would like to give feedback of this hotel Zen Seaslug. I atypically make comment or complaint about hotel. We arrived at the arrival van dept. We paid someone to take us to the hotel but could not find hotel. We tried phone them but wrong phone number. We asked someone for directions But dropped us off to a wrong place, so we had to take another ride which cost us more. The hotel name was inconsistent, we booked online as ZEN ROOM SEASLUGS, but when we arrived there, it’s only Seaslug, not zen. So we had to pay another fare to take us to the Seaslug hotel. To be honest the front of the place was not nice. The sign showing SeaSlugh was faded and could not see at all. We knocked on the door and waited for 15 mins because no one was there. Eventually someone turned up & gave us our keys. The room was not bad but the view outside through the window was the hall which meant we had to keep our curtains closed all the time. This made the room very dark and we had to keep the light on all the time. Also the light socket was broken which in my view is dangerous. The bathroom sink tap with the hose was too high so I could not wash my face within the sink The tap water kept running down over the sink. The toilet seat was broken. On the second day, the bathroom light could not be switched off. We did report this but no one came to repair it. The air conditioning was good but we had to share the remote control with other rooms!! They provided us with a lovely breakfast but I got fed up with the ants walking on the table all the time and I had to kill them! Not very hygienic!! Sometimes when we came back from the town in the evenings, I saw the reception lady with her mother, daughter and son watching TV together!! It did not look like a hotel as all, more like sharing like Airbnb. On the table, we saw a welcome note that we have to receive a surprise travel kit, but yeah, we were surprised because nothing was found there!

The staff were all nice and accomodating!

The broken flush because it kept dripping and I can't sleep with the sound. Intermittent power, cable, mobile signal and wifi signal.
